Our Implementation Methodology

Solution delivery

At Asyst, we understand that every implementation is different. In order to meet the individual needs of our clients the following provides you with an overview of the principle elements of our implementation methodology.

Project Scope

The aim here is to document the business processes and the key business issues that the system is to address. With this information it will be possible for us to design the pilot system configuration to achieve your goals and meet your expectations.

Project Planning Meeting

The objective of this meeting is to review all aspects of the implementation including the project scope, budgets and timescales, key milestones, key resources, reporting and control, change management and any potential risks that may affect the project. Having completed this meeting we will issue you with a comprehensive project plan and supporting documentation that will be updated by the Project Manager throughout the implementation.

Pilot System Configuration

Having obtained a clear understanding of the core business processes from the Project scoping exercise, we will be in a position to configure the system to meet with your requirements. This will take into account the set up which best fits the business, with emphasis on common business practices where appropriate. The pilot systems that result from this process will be used for all user training.

Data Import

Conducting a trial data import will facilitate the testing and training to take place using as much of your own data as possible. We will agree with you which elements of your current data are to be imported during the planning phase. A final ‘live’ data import will be conducted immediately prior to the live date for each company including the any open items.

Education and Training

Asyst Solutions can offer either standard or tailored organisation training courses depending on the particular training requirements, styles and methodology. Every delegate will be provided with full course notes, including worked examples for future reference.

Rehearsals / Parallel Run

A rehearsal process will allow you to take a typical day’s data and enter this into the new system, which covers every aspect of your business process on a controlled basis. Once Asyst have agreed with you that you are happy with the outcome of the rehearsal or parallel run you will be able to move towards live operation.

Go Live Assistance and First Month End

Asyst personnel will be available on site for the initial period of live running and for the first month end to assist with your month end procedures following installation.

General Consultancy

This service is provided to address the many ad-hoc requirements that are typically required during any systems implementation. Examples of this range from customisation of the user labels and menus to include each individual company’s specific terminology and any additional client-specific report writing.

Account Management and Development

Once your system has been implemented the value of our relationship does not stop there. There will continue to be industry advances, new products, and opportunities for enhanced benefit from your system. A continuous cycle of assessment and improvement is part of every well-structured business.
